Welcome to my homepage! I am a research fellow and lecturer at the University of Zurich, Institute of Asian and Oriental Studies (Japanese Studies), currently working a post-doctoral project. I hold a doctorate in Japanese Studies from the University of Zurich and an M.A. in Japanese Studies, Chinese Studies and Law from LMU Munich University.
My present research interests include: alternative lifestyles and lifestyle movements, precarity and poverty, consumption and creativity, countercultures and urbanity, DIY and alternative economies as well as alternative lifestyles in Japan and elsewhere.
